The Site Searcher on the Home page is now much improved - It uses the website facilities and does not rely upon a large download anymore.

It has a secondary pupose in that it keeps web search engines like Google up to date on site changes.

This is the first RSS feed item to be published on the Abbots Leigh Website. It is hoped that all villagers with computers will avail themselves of this service, which has been established to serve their interests.

It is the intention that this new service will help to keep everybody informed of local news, events and development in the village. Many of the items will originate from the Parish Council and from the Civic Society but that is no reason why other items of general interest should not appear as well. There are many local groups who can take advantage of this means of communication. A separate feed to service just that village group can be made available and serviced.
